Ronda L. Halvorsen, President – Ronda@hdgt.net
Ronda is Owner and Manager of High Desert Geo-Technologies, Inc., which was founded in June of 1998. She graduated from Central Oregon Community College in 1995 with an AAS in Geographic Information Systems and Computer Aided Drafting and Design. She is working on earning her Bachelor degree in Business Administration. Her role at High Desert is now mainly focused on GIS/GPS education, marketing, growing and managing High Desert.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteer work, horseback riding, hunting, and fishing.
Blair Deaver, GIS/Analyst/Programmer - Blair@hdgt.net
Blair is a GIS Programmer/Analyst. He has a BS in Environmental Studies from University of Oregon. Prior to working for High Desert, he was a software analyst for ESRI's Developer Support and Technical Support Groups. Blair develops both web based and desktop GIS applications. Additionally Blair assists clients with design and support of GIS systems. He is proficient in Visual Basic, Active Server Pages, JavaScript, and HTML.
Blair enjoys cycling, playing with his dog, and a really good bean, rice, and cheese burrito.
Tom Ponte, GIS Analyst/Technician – Tomp@hdgt.net
Tom has a BS in Management from the University of Maine and an AA GIS from Central Oregon Community College. For 3 years he has been working for GIS consulting firms in Central Oregon; involved in a broad spectrum of governmental GIS contracting in addition to private sector projects and analysis.
Tom enjoys a wide variety of physical outdoor sports, reading, and surfing the Internet.
Donna Ramsey, Office Manager – Donna@hdgt.net
Donna manages the bookkeeping and general office needs. Prior to working for High Desert, Donna was employed for several years in the banking industry as an administrative assistant.
